New Integrated Games Programme

A new adult games programme will be launched on August 17th 2012. The integrated games programme will see talented footballers with disability play alongside their non-disabled counterparts. The main aims of the initiative are to support disabled players
who will have an involvement in the National Disability Squads and to bridge
the gap between mainstream and disability football structures.

Four teams will partake in the programme which includes: Newport County FC, Cardiff City FC, Treforest FC and Dinas Powys FC. Fixtures are 11 v 11 and will take place on Friday evenings from August to November 2012. The first matches will take place at the new Llanwern School (formerly Hartridge High School) 3G artificial turf
pitch on 17th August 2012 (18:30 Newport County vs. Cardiff City & 20:00 Dinas Powys vs. Treforest).

Admission to watch the games is free.
